With six major facilities and more than 7,300 employees, including associates from St. Elizabeth Physicians, St. Elizabeth Healthcare is not only the largest healthcare provider in Northern Kentucky, but also continually recognized as one of the nation’s best. Time and again, our organization has been lauded for exceptional care by an array of respected sources. These awards and accolades only help to show that St. Elizabeth Healthcare and our community really are better together.
HealthGrades cited St. Elizabeth as a Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence and was ranked among the top 5% nationally for clinical excellence for the tenth year in a row (2003 – 2012). We were also named one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals by HealthGrades (2007 - 2012) six years in a row with key distinctions coming in the areas of cardiology, orthopaedics, stroke treatment, pulmonary services, gastrointestinal care, critical care, emergency medicine and women’s health services. Best in Greater Cincinnati awards for 2011 were given for overall cardiac services, cardiac surgery, joint replacement and spine surgery.
St. Elizabeth was named a “100 Top Hospital” by Thomson Reuters (1998, 2007 - 2011) six times including five years in a row.
St. Elizabeth was also the first in Greater Cincinnati to achieve Magnet ™ designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in 2006 and was re-designated in 2010 (St. Elizabeth Covington, Edgewood, Grant).
St. Elizabeth has been voted a “Best Place to Work in Greater Cincinnati” by the Cincinnati Business Courier three times (2005, 2007, 2008) and has been a finalist two times (2006, 2009). St. Elizabeth was also inducted into the Business Courier’s Hall of Fame category in 2008.
