Women’s Wellness Center to Hold Seminar on Plastic Surgery The St. Elizabeth Women’s Wellness Center in Ft. Thomas will hold a free seminar on plastic surgery on Wednesday, May 23 from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. at 85 North Grand Avenue.  Seating is limited and advance registration is required.

WLWT: High Schools Tackle Concussion Crisis Some schools in Northern Kentucky are tackling the issue of concussions in high school sports. With nearly 4 million concussions per year in youth sports in America, longtime soccer coach and current Notre Dame Academy Athletic Director Kim Gunning said it wouldn't surprise her if a mandatory helmet rule in soccer came to be.

Remke bigg’s and St. Elizabeth Focus on Sports and Nutrition Remke biggs and St. Elizabeth Healthcare will present A Taste of Health: Sports and Nutrition event at Remke biggs Turfway location on Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  The event is free and open to the public.

St. Elizabeth CardioVascular Mobile Health Unit Upcoming Screening Sites The St. Elizabeth CardioVascular Mobile Health Unit will be offering stroke and cardiovascular screenings at locations throughout Northern Kentucky during May and June. Special pricing of $75 for all three main screenings, including peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery and abdominal aortic aneurysm. An EKG screening will be added in June for $35 or $110 for all four screenings.
