The Audiology and Speech Pathology services at St. Elizabeth Healthcare provide a wide range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services for all ages. We offer inpatient services at all hospital locations and outpatient services primarily at the Edgewood campus.
An audiologist is a healthcare professional who specializes in identifying, diagnosing, treating and monitoring disorders of the auditory and vestibular system portions of the ear. Audiologists perform hearing assessments on all ages, as well as provide hearing aid evaluations and dispensing services. We offer a selection of hearing aids from multiple vendors, and provide a hearing aid warranty, payment plan options, and excellent service by professionally trained, licensed and certified audiologists.
Speech pathologists specialize in disorders that affect a person's speech, language, cognition, voice, swallowing (dysphagia) and the rehabilitative or corrective treatment of physical and/or cognitive deficits/disorders resulting in difficulty with communication and/or swallowing. At St. Elizabeth Healthcare, speech pathology services include evaluation and treatment of communication disorders in all ages.
Services are provided for articulation disorders, speech and language delays, language learning delays, dysfluency, swallowing disorders and voice disorders. St. Elizabeth Heatlhcare is the only provider in Northern Kentucky to offer videostroboscopy, a process to diagnosis and treat voice disorders. In addition, treatment for communication and/or cognitive disorders resulting from stroke, head injury, laryngectomy and congenital anomalies are also available.

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., with earlier or later appointments available as needed.
