Choices.
That is what the Birthing Centers at The St. Luke Hospitals are all about. St. Luke wants the birth of your baby to be an extra-special time in your family’s life. And the freedom to choose birthing options in such a lovely setting is one way to enrich this joyful experience.
Our private, home-like birthing suites at St. Luke Hospital East and St. Luke Hospital West are designed to accommodate your needs during labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum care. At St. Luke West we have a suite with a birthing tub.
Before birth, our Perinatal Centers offer Level I and Level II ultrasounds, biophysical profiles, non-stress and stress tests, and amniocentesis. Should your baby need special care after birth, a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery is dedicated to the care of sick newborns.

Birthing Center ToursDiscover the advantages of giving birth at The St. Luke Hospital East or St. Luke Hospital West. Take a guided tour of St. Luke's Birthing Centers. Meet in the hospital lobby at St. Luke East on the second Sunday of each month and in the Birthing Center Lobby at St. Luke West on the third Sunday of each month. |

Basic Childbirth SeriesThis is a four-week series of classes to educate and assist mother and her partner before, during and after baby's birth. |

Childbirth for Busy CouplesBasic childbirth classes are offered in an all-day Saturday session designed as an option for those not able to attend a multi-week format. |

Breastfeeding ClassThis is a class for women who choose to breastfeed and for those who are undecided. |

Save-A-BabyAmerican Heart Association infant CPR class designed to help you recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies in infants and children, such as cardiac arrest, breathing difficulties, respiratory arrest and choking. You will learn to perform CPR and relieve foreign body airway obstructions. |
