Cardiac Risk Reduction Center
Call 859-572-3938 for more information.
The St. Luke Hospitals have opened the Cardiac Risk Reduction Center. We are enhancing Northern Kentucky’s first congestive heart failure program so patients can get a full scale of cardiac risk reduction and treatment management programs all at one location. Our services are coordinated by our registered nurses and pharmacists who specialize in these areas. We collaborate with physicians throughout the treatment and ensure that they are kept up-to-date regarding their patients’ progress.
All of the cardiac risk reduction services can be accessed by calling 859-572-3938. Our experts will work with physicians and patients to determine the optimal treatment plan. Please feel free to call us or talk to your physician if you have any questions.
Cardiac risk reduction services include:
Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) Clinic
St. Luke is a leader in the field offering high-quality, long-term management of congestive heart failure. Our experts assess each patient’s individual needs and develop a customized program to treat and monitor their symptoms.
Anticoagulation Clinic
Our highly qualified clinical pharmacists work to improve patient care by maximizing the benefits of anticoagulation therapy and minimizing the adverse effects associated with anticoagulation.
Cardiac risk reduction exercise programs
St. Luke has two certified exercise physiologists who work in conjunction with the CHF and anticoagulation clinics to monitor therapy.
Nutrition counseling
Our registered dietitians provide one-on-one counseling to help teach and motivate patients to adapt to new eating habits to help decrease health risks. They collaborate with the other cardiac risk reduction services to ensure the patient achieves optimal success.
